When it comes to the question of where the water comes from, we have to consider some interesting things. We know very well that water is composed of Hydrogen and Oxygen, and hydrogen is the most common substance in the Universe. Oxygen as the substance was formed inside the stars by nuclear fusion. The Solar System, planets, including the Earth, have now formed 4.54 billion years, and the planets have gone through roughly the same training processes. Considering these observations, the question arises, why is our planet so rich in water and where this large quantity of water comes from, because 70% of the surface of the Earth is covered with water. The answer to this question is not very clear now. Basically, there are 2 fundamental theories about which researchers are still discussing. The first theory argues that there is from the beginning, from the formation of the Earth, the water on the planet. But the other camp of scientists highlights the fact that the temperature was so high that most of the water was probably evaporating in space. According to this theory, the current ocean waters can not come only from the initial processes. This camp of researchers has come up with a new idea to explain the origin of the water on Earth. It has been known for a long time that the planets have been hit by thousands of space objects in an event called the "Great Bombardment" 3.85 billion years ago, which has disfigured the Moon, leaving many craters visible today, but not it was known if these objects were mostly asteroids or comets. Asteroids are space rocks, and comets are made up of huge amounts of ice. In 2009, a team of researchers from the Niels Bohr Institute in Denmark discovered that for this bombardment the comets are responsible, which means that a large amount of water was brought to Earth by these objects and can thus explain where it comes from part of the water on Earth. Water production is largely explained, although scientists are still debating, how much of the water was brought by the comets and how it was formed here, but ocean formation seems to be simpler. Of course, at first, there is no water in the liquid form on Earth, and much water evaporates in space before the atmosphere is formed. After the Earth cooled, the volcanic gases formed the atmosphere and the water from the atmosphere began to condense. Following the precipitation, the planet's depressions were filled with water.
